She is a musician, a singer, a songwriter, an activist, a storyteller.

Carolyn has been at this work for some time.

In the 1960s, the Saturday Evening Post chose to put a photograph of Carolyn (singing and playing her guitar) on the magazine’s cover. They were writing about the folk music revival, a major aspect of music and popular culture at that time.
